Elevated view over the fair midway on a sunny October day: a long red barn-style exhibit hall with white X-braced windows at left, a tall red-and-white loop ride and a Ferris wheel, colourful striped tents, flags and food stands ('FUNNEL ...', '... DOGS' concession signs), small crowds walking the lanes, parked cars and town buildings beyond under a deep blue sky.
