The short answer

Every photograph on this guide is a real, credited photo of Forsyth County, Georgia, or of Lake Lanier from its Forsyth shore, used under its licence. The film on the home page is cut from these photographs with slow pans and dissolves; nothing in it is generated. Each credit links to the original.
